Signing up creates YOU — a person — and the brands, buyer accounts and seller profiles you operate are things you create afterwards and manage from that account. They are never accounts you log in as. Each profile has one owner and can grant other people access under THEIR own login, at four levels (owner, admin, manager, viewer), revocably, with every action still attributed to whoever took it. A grant belongs to a person and never to an email address: invite someone who has not joined yet and the invitation waits, inert, until a real person with that address signs in. Verifying your website — a DNS record or a file, no application and no approval queue — locks the domain so nobody else can ever hold a profile for it, and means the profile belongs to the business rather than to whoever happened to create it. Ownership transfers in a single step that the recipient must already be a member for, and that you confirm by typing their email.
