The basics
What is GRAJ?
GRAJ (Get Ready And Jump) is universal, wholesale-first commerce infrastructure — an open protocol that connects every participant in the supply chain on one system. Brands list, sellers rep, buyers order, and distributors, manufacturers, merchandisers, marketers, shippers, storers, suppliers and funders all operate on the same rails. One protocol, one fee, one identity that travels with you.
Is GRAJ free to join?
Yes. Creating an account and setting up your operation is free — no monthly subscription, no listing fees, no pay-to-play ranking. The only charge is a flat 5% protocol fee on completed transactions.
Where is GRAJ built, and where can I use it?
GRAJ is built in Detroit and designed to work in 195 countries. The same protocol, the same rules, and the same 5% apply everywhere — Detroit to Denmark, Lagos to London.
The protocol
What does "open protocol" mean versus a marketplace?
A marketplace owns the customers, the ranking, and the terms — you rent access. GRAJ is a protocol: shared commerce rails with one fee and one identity that any participant builds on top of. There is no algorithm deciding who you see or pay-to-play placement — just the rules, applied the same to everyone.
Can I leave and take my data with me?
Yes. Your operation, catalog, customer relationships, and Commerce Passport are yours. GRAJ is infrastructure you build on, not a walled garden that holds your business hostage — nothing here is designed to trap you.
Is GRAJ a middleman?
No. GRAJ does not buy your goods, resell them, or insert itself between you and your customer. It is neutral infrastructure — you keep the relationship and the margin, and the protocol just charges a flat 5% for the rails you transact on.
What does "wholesale-first" mean?
It means the protocol is built around businesses selling to other businesses — line sheets, MOQs, net terms, and reorders — rather than direct-to-consumer as an afterthought. Wholesale is the foundation, not a bolt-on.
The 5% fee
How much does GRAJ cost?
A flat 5% protocol fee on each completed transaction. That is the whole pricing model — no subscriptions, no per-listing charges, no ad auctions, no tiered "premium" plans.
Can the 5% fee ever change?
No — the 5% is locked in the protocol code, not set by a sales team or a board that can raise it next quarter. It is a hard product invariant. What you pay today is what you pay in five years.
How is that cheaper than Faire or Amazon?
Wholesale marketplaces like Faire commonly take around 15% on first orders plus commissions on reorders; selling through Amazon can mean referral fees, FBA fees, storage, and ad spend that stack well past 30% all-in. GRAJ is a flat 5% with nothing bolted on top — no ad tax, no fee for reorders, no penalty for succeeding.
Are there any hidden fees?
No. The 5% covers use of the protocol. You may still pay third parties you choose to use (a payment processor, a carrier, a co-packer), but GRAJ does not add listing fees, ranking fees, or subscription tiers of its own.
Roles and agents
What are the 11 participant roles?
GRAJ organizes commerce around 11 roles: brand, seller, buyer, distributor, merchandiser, marketer, manufacturer, shipper, storer, supplier, and funder. Each role has its own dashboard and tools, and you can hold more than one — many participants are both a brand and a seller, or a buyer and a distributor.
Which roles are live right now?
Brand, seller, and buyer are live today — you can list, rep, and place wholesale orders now. The remaining roles (distributor, merchandiser, marketer, manufacturer, shipper, storer, supplier, funder) are rolling out and are marked as coming soon in the product.
What are the 12 AI agents?
Every role has a named AI agent, plus Raj for admin — 12 in total: Raj (admin), Marcus (brand), Camila (seller/rep), Li (buyer), Taylor (distributor), Kwame (merchandiser), Mina (marketer), Luka (manufacturer), Harper (shipper), Bao (storer), Priya (supplier), and Jake (funder). They help you run your operation and can hand off to one another when a task crosses roles.
Selling and buying
How do reps get paid?
Sellers (reps) work brands' line sheets into buyers and earn commission on the orders they write. Commission terms are set between the rep and the brand; GRAJ tracks the orders and the flat 5% protocol fee applies to the completed transaction, not on top of the rep's cut.
What is a line sheet?
A line sheet is a brand's wholesale catalog — the products, wholesale prices, minimums, case packs, and terms a buyer needs to place an order. It is the core selling document in wholesale, and reps sell from it.
What are MOQ and MAP?
MOQ is the Minimum Order Quantity a brand will accept — the smallest order that keeps production and fulfillment economical. MAP is the Minimum Advertised Price, the lowest price a brand permits its products to be advertised at, used to protect brand value across resellers.
Do you offer net terms?
Net terms — paying 30, 60, or 90 days after delivery instead of up front — are a core part of wholesale, and the funder role is designed to support terms and trade finance between participants. Availability depends on the participants involved and the funder tooling as it comes online.
How does an order flow through GRAJ?
A brand publishes a line sheet, a rep or buyer builds an order against it, and the buyer places it. The order, its status, and the completed transaction are recorded to the append-only event log; the flat 5% applies when the transaction completes. Reorders flow the same way — with no extra fee for coming back.
Tools and AI
What free tools does GRAJ have?
GRAJ ships a set of free participant calculators — margin, commission, case-pack, break-even, and reorder-point tools, plus nutrition and allergen helpers for food and beverage. They are open to use and built to answer the everyday wholesale math you shouldn't need a spreadsheet for.
What can the AI agents do?
Each role's agent helps you run that side of your operation — drafting outreach, answering wholesale questions, working through pricing and terms, and searching the web when needed. When a task crosses roles, one agent hands off to another (a brand's agent passing a logistics question to the shipper agent).
Do the AI agents cost extra?
No. The agents are part of the protocol you already have access to — there is no separate agent subscription or per-message charge. The only charge on GRAJ is the flat 5% on completed transactions.
Reputation and identity
What is the Commerce Passport?
Your Commerce Passport is your portable commercial identity on the protocol. It carries your GRAJ Score, transaction history, certifications, and participant rank. It belongs to you — it travels across roles and markets and cannot be reset or taken away by any single party.
What is a GRAJ Score?
Your GRAJ Score is your commercial reputation, built from real activity: completed transactions, reviews, profile completeness, and compliance record. It lives inside your Commerce Passport, so the reputation you earn is reputation you keep.
What is the Pioneer program?
Pioneer status recognizes the earliest participants on the protocol: the first 5,000 participants worldwide, plus City Pioneers — roughly 50 to 500 per role in each market. It is permanent, protocol-verified, and free to claim. It cannot be bought or transferred.
What is a Contribution Tier?
As you contribute activity to the protocol you earn points that roll up into a contribution tier — bronze, silver, gold, or diamond. Tiers reflect how much you have built on GRAJ and are tracked from the append-only event log, not self-reported.
Trust and verification
How do I verify a transaction actually happened?
Key protocol activity is written to an append-only ledger and periodically anchored to Bitcoin. Because the record can't be edited after the fact and carries an independent timestamp, a completed transaction can be proven to have existed — without having to take GRAJ's word for it.
What is the verifiable ledger?
It is GRAJ's append-only record of protocol activity, periodically anchored to Bitcoin via OpenTimestamps. Anchoring produces a tamper-evident, independently checkable timestamp — proof a record existed at a point in time that doesn't rely on trusting GRAJ to vouch for itself.
How is my GRAJ Score computed?
From real activity, not self-reported claims: completed transactions, reviews, profile completeness, and compliance record, drawn from the append-only event log. Because it is built from logged events rather than a form you fill in, it reflects what you've actually done on the protocol.
Can reputation be faked on GRAJ?
It is hard to fake, by design. Your score is computed from logged, append-only events tied to real transactions and anchored to an independent timeline — not from badges you can award yourself. There is no pay-to-rank, so reputation has to be earned through activity.
Money, data, and trust
Who owns my data?
You do. Your operation, your catalog, your customer relationships, and your Commerce Passport are yours. GRAJ is infrastructure you build on top of — not a walled garden that holds your business hostage.
What is the Bitcoin-anchored ledger?
Key protocol activity is recorded to an append-only ledger and periodically anchored to Bitcoin via OpenTimestamps. Anchoring produces an independent, tamper-evident timestamp: it proves a record existed at a point in time without having to trust GRAJ to vouch for itself.
Is my account and data secure?
GRAJ runs on Supabase-backed infrastructure with authenticated accounts, and the activity of record lives in an append-only event log rather than being freely rewritten. Your commercial identity is carried in your Commerce Passport, which no single party can reset or seize.
Industries
What industries does GRAJ serve?
GRAJ is universal commerce infrastructure — it is built for wholesale across categories, including food & beverage, beauty, apparel, home, and beyond. The roles, line sheets, terms, and calculators map to how wholesale works in any of these verticals.
Is GRAJ only for one vertical?
No. The whole point of a protocol is that it isn't locked to a single category — the same rails, roles, and 5% fee serve any wholesale business. Category-specific tools (like nutrition and allergen helpers for food) sit on top of the same universal foundation.
Orders & getting paid
How do I place an order for a buyer?
As a rep, go to New Order: add products from your catalog, pick or quick-add the buyer, choose payment terms (prepaid or Net-15/30/60/90), and submit. The order lands in Orders with its status, and your commission is tracked automatically.
When do I get paid?
Commissions and payouts release once the order is paid — money has to be collected before it can be disbursed. You can watch each order's payment status on the pizza-tracker, and your earnings in Wallet/Commission.
How much does GRAJ take?
A flat 5% protocol fee on the completed transaction — nothing on top of your rep commission or the brand payout. The split is computed to the cent and reconciled by the protocol.
Can I reorder a past order fast?
Yes. On Orders, hit ↻ Reorder on any order — it re-creates the same items for the same buyer so you can review and submit in one screen.
Credit terms & invoices
How do I sell on net terms?
On New Order, set the payment terms to Net-15/30/60/90 instead of prepaid. The order becomes an invoice the brand tracks in Invoices / Accounts Receivable, with a due date and aging.
Where do I see what I'm owed?
Brands see every terms order in Invoices — outstanding total, overdue total, aging buckets, and a printable invoice per order. Mark an invoice paid when the buyer pays and it settles through the ledger.
Can I set volume / tiered pricing?
Yes. In your catalog, add price breaks to a product (e.g. 12+ at a lower unit price). Orders that hit the quantity get the tier price automatically — shown to the rep and charged the same.
Direct-to-consumer (DTC)
How do I sell direct to consumers?
Turn on DTC on the Sell-Direct page, then open each product in your catalog and enable the Direct-to-consumer channel with a retail (SRP) price and consumer pack. Your /shop becomes a real consumer store at retail — wholesale stays separate.
Why are my wholesale products not on my DTC shop?
By design. Wholesale and DTC are separate channels — a product only appears on the DTC shop when you opt it into DTC and give it a retail price. This keeps wholesale pricing private from consumers.
Can a product be both wholesale and DTC?
Yes. A product can sell wholesale (to buyers via reps) and direct (to consumers at retail) at the same time, each with its own price and pack.
Delivery & tracking
I'm a rep delivering orders myself — how?
Go to Deliveries: select your stops, tap Navigate route for turn-by-turn directions, then On my way to notify the buyer and share your live location. Snap a proof-of-delivery photo to close it out.
Can the buyer track the delivery?
Yes. When you go "on my way," the buyer gets a link to a live tracking page — pizza-tracker status, ETA, and your location on a map as you approach — whether or not they're on the protocol.
How does a brand ship an order?
On Shipping, enter the box weight/size for a brand-ships order, compare carrier rates, and buy a label — the order moves to shipped with tracking. (Live carrier rates turn on once shipping is connected.)
Promotions & discounts
How do I give a rep a discount to offer?
On Promotions (or a rep's card in Team), grant discount authority: e.g. 10 uses of 15% off, capped per order, for new accounts only, expiring on a date. The rep can apply it on orders — never beyond what you granted — and both sides watch "N of M used."
Do promotions affect my payout?
A discount comes out of the order the way you set it; the flat 5% applies to the completed transaction. You control the cap and scope, so a promo can never exceed what you authorized.
Live shopping
What is live shopping on GRAJ?
Reps and brands can broadcast live and sell in real time — wholesale or direct. Viewers watch, chat, and buy the featured products on the spot. It's the first wholesale live-shopping marketplace.
How do I go live?
From your dashboard, open Go Live: pick the channel, add a title, select the products to feature, and go on air. Point your encoder at the stream key shown, and your stream appears on the public Live page.
How do buyers buy during a live?
Featured products show under the stream. Direct items check out on the spot; wholesale items flow into the normal order path so commissions and the 5% track exactly like any order.
Backorders & returns
A product is out of stock — how do I handle it?
On an order (or the Backorders page), mark how many units of a line are on backorder and an expected restock date. The buyer and rep see it on the order; clear it when it ships.
How do refunds and returns work?
Returns and disputes are handled from the order — open a dispute or return on the order in question. Refunds are reconciled through the protocol ledger so both parties net out correctly.
Your team
Where do I manage my reps and buyers?
Everyone you're partnered with lives under Team — Current Team (active reps + buyers, with their terms and a Message button) and Future Team (pending invites, applications, and your wishlist).
How do I message a partner quickly?
Every partner card has a Message button that opens a direct chat with them — no need to open their profile first.
How do I add a rep or a brand to my team?
Find them on Explore and apply/invite, or accept a pending request in Future Team. Once terms are set, they move into Current Team.
Getting started
How do I join?
Go to sign-up, create your free account, pick your role (or roles), and complete your participant profile. There is nothing to pay to get started — you only ever encounter the 5% when a transaction completes.
Is there a mobile app?
Yes. GRAJ ships as iOS and Android apps that run the live protocol, so your dashboard, agents, and Commerce Passport come with you on your phone.
